What is FAST?
FAST (Fast And Secure Transfers) is an electronic funds transfer service. It allows a secure and almost immediate transfer of Singapore dollar funds (SGD funds) between accounts of the participating banks in Singapore.
You can make interbank funds transfers of up to $200,000 per transaction, depending on your daily or monthly withdrawal limits.
FAST is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
How to use FAST to transfer funds
To use FAST, you will need:
- A savings or current account at one of the FAST participating banks. The recipient should also have an account at a participating bank.
- The recipient's bank account number. The bank account number is mandatory, while the name is for reference only.
Log in to your bank's internet banking service and select FAST as the transfer method.
You can find out the status of your fund transfer via internet banking or the notification service offered by your bank, such as email or SMS.
